Our cloud-based application allows clinical cases, referred to veterinary and referral centres, to be processed effectively and efficiently. Allow your referral information to flow seamlessly across your teams, from external referrers and reception teams to clinical referral veterinarians and administrators.

We have refined the entire referral process and taken it online, reducing the burden on your staff’s time and workload. Need to check the progress of a referral, or download specific details of a referral case? With our unique system, this information is only a click away across a wide range of devices.

Adding a new referral

Choose the desired practice or branch, fill in the details, and create a new referral. Choose a service, leave a comment and attach the patient’s history and submit your referral.

The Referral Platform will then email the associated user with a summary and a link back to the referral.

Dealing with a submitted referral

Select one of the submitted referrals from the Referral Platform home page and input the referral into your practice management system.

Pass the referral through to the Assessment phase and request an estimate from your clinical team.

Assessing a new referral

At the beginning of the assessment phase the estimating clinician will assess the referral. They will enter an estimate to carry out the referral work. They will also either confirm, correct or add a further referral service for this referred case.

Once an estimate, monetary amount and procedure have been entered, the referral will be moved into the Appointment phase.

Creating the appointment

See the referrals as well as the status and details of appointment bookings. After an appointment is made, a confirmation email is sent to the referring practice.

Your reception team can perform the booking task, and change its status when the client and patient arrive. From here, the Referral Platform passes the referral to the Referred phase.

The clinical visit

In the Referred phase, users can upload referral reports. These reports can be viewed and easily accessed across your teams.

If the referral is finished and there are no more reports to upload, the referral can be completed.

The completed referral

Completed referrals can be accessed through the Completed referral list.

In this final phase, you can review reports and comments, as well as downloading them for input into your practice management system.

Reporting & searching

You can create filters and generate referral reports via the Admin area.

Simply choose your filters, including referral type, referral service or specific phrases, to produce the desired search results.
